It’s finally Friday! Yay! That means it’s time for a little fun. This survey had been floating around the web but I last saw it on Best Body Fitness, so I will credit Tina for it. I love reading surveys and seeing everyone’s answers!
1. What did you eat for breakfast?
This morning it was a bottle of Fitmixer Aminos with 1 T of ACV and an egg sandwich.
2. How much water do you drink each day?
During the work week I drink about 100 ounces, probably a little over. During the weekend I get in a little bit less.
3. What is your current favorite workout?
Well, currently I’m doing Insanity (only first month). But I think my FAVORITE is running outside… or doing intervals on the tredmil while listening to audiobooks.
4. How many calories do you eat each day?
About 1200 for weightloss. About 1500-1700 when trying to maintain (like on vacation).
5. What are your favorite healthy snacks?
I’m currently loving greek yogurt mixed with PB2 and a little sugar free chocolate drizzle. Tastes like dessert but has tons of protein.
I also love the coconut fudge babies I made a week or two ago. Those are delicious. I recently discovered dates so those are also at the top of my list.
Oh, and Quest protein bars. SO GOOD.
6. What do you usually eat for lunch?
Lately it’s been turkey + avocado rolls with roasted sweet poatoes, squash and veggies. But that smells up the office a bit.
Today I have a southwestern salad with lettuce, chicken, black beans, cheese, red peppers, avocado and some salsa greek yogurt dressing. I can’t wait!
7. What is your favorite body part to train?
None of it. Ha! I have a love-hate relationship with weights. I will say arms or upperbody because I feel like I see gains there the most and the fastest. I can do a MEAN pushup. For reals.
8. What is your least favorite body part to train?
Hmm… Probably legs because that’s usually what fatigues me the most.
9. What are your “bad” food cravings?
I try not to think of food as “bad” but anything chocolate. Or ice cream, or baked goods. Yeah, all of the above. Those things I try to limit due to high calories, low nutritional value and high sugar… but I do give in. I have one treat everyday!
10. Do you take vitamins or supplements?
I sometimes take a Probiotic, and am looking for other options, specifically for digestion health. Other than that, no.
11. How often do you eat out?
Maybe once a week. I would MUCH rather go to Whole Foods and grab some meat and cook a meal at home. That is usually so much better.
12. Do you eat fast food?
Besides Subway? No. It really doesn’t appeal to me anymore. Does Panera count as fast food? Because I go there occasionally too
13. Who is your biggest supporter?
Probably the BF and/or my stepmom (hi mom!).
14. Do you have a gym membership?
Nope, I have a free small gym at my work, so that’s nice. I want a home gym SO badly though. I think it’s worth investing in. Maybe when I don’t live in a studio I can make that happen…
15. How many hours of sleep do you get each night?
I feel best when I get 8 (lame, right?). Usually it’s closer to 7-7.5.
16. Do you have a “cheat” day?
Nope, but I am less rigid with my calorie counting on the weekends. I’ve always been super healthy during the week and eat like shit on the weekends and that didn’t work for me. Now, I eat healthy all the time, but am less strict on the weekends due to not really having it all planned out. It’s been working well for me.
17. Do you drink alcohol?
Not every week- but I do, definitely. I try to save it for special occasions because it’s not within my calorie range and I’d much rather have a dessert than a beer. But, as you know, I drank a lot on vacation and it was all absolutely delicious. I love a good flavored beer or glass of wine.
I suspect when I reach maintenance mode (about 5-7 lbs away!) I will enjoy wine more often.
18. Do you have a workout buddy?
No, but I love to drag the BF along for a run, workout or convince him to do Insanity with me.
19. What is the best thing that has changed about your life since committing to a healthy lifestyle?
I am becoming more confident and I have learned so much about mental and physical health. I am more conscious of the food I put into my body and have started to look at it as FUEL instead of just for pleasure.
20. What is the last healthy thing you did?
Hm.. I worked out this morning (Insanity, baby!) and am trying this whole warm water + lemon thing instead of coffee. Hopefully that will help digestion, too.
Your turn! Answer one or all- love to hear what you have to say!

This is one of my favorite surveys! I’m loving that breakfast sandwich — yum!
Favorite healthy snacks: homemade pumpkin or peanut butter protein bars with PB2 or peanut butter on top; whipped cottage cheese with peanut butter or almonds; hard boiled eggs with guacamole and/or hummus; egg white fluff puffs
Favorite body part to train: back and chest
Last healthy thing I did: ate dark chocolate (hello, antioxidants!)
Happy weekend! <3
I’m loving your healthy snacks. I might have to incorporate some of those into my snack arsenal!
